Masked Gunman Robs Liquor Store
VENTURA —
A masked man in shorts robbed a beach-area liquor store at gunpoint early Sunday, police said.
The man entered Surf Liquor, 1050 S. Seaward Ave., about 12:45 a.m., Ventura Police Sgt. Bob Velez said.
The man, who had a stocking cap pulled over his face, pointed a handgun at a clerk and demanded cash, Velez said.
Investigators believe the robber left on foot, because no vehicle was seen or heard, Velez said.
