InSight Health Services Corp.: The Newport Beach provider of diagnostic imaging and related services said it lost $4.5 million, or 53 cents a share, for the second fiscal quarter ended Dec. 31, which included a one-time charge of $6.3 million associated with the company’s termination of a service fee agreement with General Electric Co. For the like period a year ago, InSight reported net income of $262,000, or 5 cents a share. Revenue increased 27% to $29.3 million from $23 million.
For the first half, the company lost $3.4 million, or 49 cents a share, compared with net income of $368,000, or 7 cents a share, for the comparable six months of the prior fiscal year. Revenue increased 27% to $57.1 million from $45.1 million.
