Landscaping Planned at Sports Complex
The City Council recently voted to plant trees around the newly opened Eastside Sports complex, but it has asked the community to help pay for the landscaping.
Several youth sports groups that use the fields said they would be happy to donate money for the cause.
Several residents have complained to city officials that, in addition to illuminating the park, light is flooding their homes and yards. City officials, who said the lights are already dim, suggested landscaping in response to the complaints.
