Second-place Pepperdine will face seventh-place San Diego at 6 p.m. when the West Coast Conference tournament starts on Saturday at Santa Clara University.
First-place Gonzaga, 21-8 overall and 10-4 in conference, is the top-seeded team and will face last-place Loyola Marymount (7-19, 3-11) at 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
