Panel of 20 to Conduct School Chiefs Search
A panel of 20 representatives from the community will be appointed tonight to interview superintendent candidates for the Newport-Mesa Unified School District.
The search committee will consist of two high school students, two teachers, two classified employees, two school district administrators, one member of the supervisory bargaining unit, four residents from Newport Beach and four residents from Costa Mesa.
The chambers of commerce in Corona del Mar, Costa Mesa and Newport Beach each will appoint a representative.
The Board of Trustees will meet at 7 tonight at the Newport-Mesa Unified Education Center, 2985 Bear St., Costa Mesa. Information: (714) 424-5000.
