Cigar Shop Employee Is Arrested in Drug Raid
Police seized 11 pounds of marijuana last week from a cigar shop in Huntington Beach and arrested one of the store’s employees on suspicion of possession of narcotics for sale, officials said.
Steven Michael Cybulski, 44, of Huntington Beach, was at Hugo’s Cigar Shop in the 18500 block of Main Street during the Thursday search, Huntington Beach Police Lt. Jon Arnold said. Cybulski was arrested after detectives found the marijuana in an undisclosed hiding spot, police said.
Officials did not elaborate on the specifics of the raid or say whether they believed marijuana had been sold from the tobacco store.
No one else was arrested as a result of the search, which police said was part of an ongoing narcotics investigation.
