* UC IRVINE (9-16, 6-9) at CAL POLY SAN LUIS OBISPO (13-14, 6-9), 2 p.m., KUCI-FM (88.9)--Irvine had its most diverse offensive showing in beating UC Santa Barbara Thursday, with three players scoring in double figures. Forward Ben Jones, who had nine points, broke out of a month-long slump by making four of six shots. He had scored 12 points in the previous four games. Guard Jason Flowers and center Andrew Carlson, who each had 12 points against the Gauchos, are playing with sprained ankles. Irvine finishes second in the Western Division with a victory and a Long Beach State loss.
