TONIGHT’S GAMES

* GONZAGA (11-3) at LOYOLA MARYMOUNT (4-8), 7, KXLU (88.9 Westchester)--The West Coast Conference opener for each school pits one of the conference’s best teams against one of the worst. Gonzaga started the season with five consecutive victories, including an upset of Clemson. Bakari Hendrix leads the Bulldogs with an 18.9-point average. The team shoots well as a whole--51% from the field and 45.2% from behind the three-point arc. Until recently, Loyola Marymount has seemed to be an underachieving team--which says something since it wasn’t expected to fare well. The Lions won their last two games over weak opponents.
