Veteran Ducks Need to Play, Not Watch

Mighty Duck Coach [Pierre] Page dodged a bullet Saturday when he benched three veteran players to substitute three still “wet-behind-the-ear” rookies. Against struggling Tampa Bay, they fared OK, but let’s not try this foolish move again. These guys, although promising, are simply outmatched and outmuscled too often.

With [Paul] Kariya back, Page should return to the winning combination of last year and stop this ongoing audition. We want our reliable, solid players to be confident, not undermined and confused by this constant chaos.
