Fullerton 79, Golden West 49--Angie Baca made four three-pointers and finished with 17 points Fullerton. Teammates Aimee Copp and Paola Flores each scored 15 points for the Hornets (15-5, 1-0). Flores also had 13 rebounds.

Becky Fraser was the lone standout for Golden West, scoring 19 points and pulling in 14 rebounds. The Rustlers are 5-11, 0-1.

Saddleback 62, Riverside 60--Christina Carcich had 14 points and Erin Edmiston and Miranda Wilkinson each had 12 for visiting Saddleback (7-10, 1-1). Wilkinson also had 10 rebounds.

Cypress 49, Orange Coast 48--Heather Green’s basket with 11 seconds remaining gave Cypress its second one-point victory in three days. Nancy Love had 15 points for the Chargers (15-6, 2-0).
