Orange Coast 80, Cypress 69--Orange Coast (12-6, 1-1) went on a 10-0 run midway through the second half to take a 10-point lead. Anthony Cooper and Shaun Jackson each scored 21 points for the Pirates. Jackson had 17 rebounds and Mark Poszgai 10.

Frankie Floyd scored 18 points, Brad Smith had 15 and Hamadi Stewart had 10 points and 11 rebounds for Cypress (9-10, 0-2).

Fullerton 76, Golden West 58--Erick Ashe scored 18 points and Ben Sanders had 13 for Fullerton (14-4, 2-0), which is tied for first with Irvine Valley and Riverside and plays both next week. Todd Jones scored 19 points for Golden West (5-13, 0-2).
