Parr Named Regional Director for Neuberger & Berman

* Tina M. Parr has joined Neuberger & Berman, LLC, an investment management firm, as regional director of Orange County. She will work out of the Los Angeles office. Parr was most recently vice president of City National Bank. Before that, she held development office positions with Stanford University and the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA.

* Greg Palmer has joined RemedyTemp Inc. in San Juan Capistrano in the new position of executive vice president and chief operating officer. Palmer was previously senior vice president of Olsten Corp., in charge of managing operations in the Western United States.

* Brian Morrow has been appointed vice president of component-based development for Select Software Tools in Irvine. He previously started Component Watch newsletter and Web site. Before that, Morrow was with Texas Instruments Software.

* Frank M. Fischer has been appointed chairman of the board of directors for TherOx Inc., a privately held medical device company in Costa Mesa. Fischer has been president and chief executive of Ventritex Inc. for the last 10 years. Before that, he spent 10 years in management at Cordis Corp.

* Charles U. Loper has been named credit analyst for Marine National Bank’s real estate industries group. He is assigned to the Newport Beach office. Loper was formerly with U.S. Bank in Las Vegas, where he was responsible for the review of real estate construction projects, serving as an industry analyst and appraisal reviewer.

* James P. Campbell and Zubin P. Mehta have been appointed vice presidents in the business banking support center division at Union Bank of California. Campbell is a credit executive, based in the Irvine office. Mehta, also in the Irvine office, is a business process design manager.

* Nicole Lloyd Wood has been named director of operations for the Newport Beach and San Jose offices of Corporate Careers, an executive search firm. She has been manager of the company for the past two years.

* Ron Wilsie has been appointed senior vice president and manager of the new WestWorks subprime lending division of Western Financial Bank in Irvine. Wilsie has previously been executive vice president of Colonial Bancorp in Santa Ana and senior vice president of the mortgage banking division of United California Savings Bank.

* Johnathon T. Husar has joined the architectural firm of Carrier Johnson Wu as director of business development and marketing. The firm has offices in Irvine and San Diego. Before joining the firm, Husar was director of marketing and communications for Hiffman Shaffer Associates Inc./New America International, a Chicago-based real estate company.

* Mike Adams has joined Specialized Direct Response in Irvine as executive vice president of sales. He had been a vice president at Select Office Solutions in Irwindale.

* R. Thomas Swiger has been named vice president, advanced materials, for Furon Co. in Laguna Niguel. He will be responsible for the advancement and oversight of new polymer product development. Swiger was previously vice president, technology, at Tremco, a division of B.F. Goodrich in Beachwood, Ohio. He also held similar management positions at Ethyl Corp. and General Electric.

* Diethart Reichardt has been named to the newly created position of vice president, global product and international business development, for ChromaVision Medical Systems Inc. in San Juan Capistrano. Reichardt was formerly corporate vice president of Allergan Inc., and head of the global optical, consumer and over-the-counter business, a $400-million division.

Donna Wolf has been named vice president of business development for Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center and Garden Grove Hospital and Medical Center. She was previously vice president of sales and development for Regency Health Services, and before that, divisional vice president of business development for Continental Medical Systems Inc.

* Charles Corogenes has been named director, CT business unit, for Toshiba America Medical Systems in Tustin. He joined the company last May as product manager. Before that, Corogenes was Southwest regional sales manager for Philips Medical Systems, and he spent 13 years with Siemens Medical Systems Inc.

* Judith Anne McCall has been appointed to the new position of vice president, human resources, administration and special projects for Premier Laser Systems in Irvine, a manufacturer of medical lasers, fiber optic delivery systems and associated products. She was also named secretary of the corporation. McCall has been with Premier Laser since 1993 and has headed the human resources department for the last three years. Jeffrey A. Anderson has joined the company as vice president of regulatory affairs and quality assurance. He was previously with Medtronic, Sybron Dental Specialties and Biolase Inc. The company also said that Ronald Higgins, vice president for operations, regulatory affairs and quality assurance, is retiring.

* Robert Rourke has been appointed manager of commercial banking relationships for Western Financial Bank’s commercial banking group. He was previously vice president of Southern California Bank.

* Richard Theis has joined Koppes & Partners Advertising in Irvine as vice president, account director. He was previously with DMB&B;/Los Angeles, where he supervised the Blue Cross of California and UniCare accounts. David Hack has been named vice president and creative director. He had been with Lewis Gace Bozell/Healthcare in Rochester, N.Y.

* Michael J. Winter has been appointed senior project manager for Regis Contractors, LP in Irvine. He was formerly vice president of development for Civic Partners in Costa Mesa.

* Thomas L. Sippl has been named general manager for the Laguna Hills office of USWeb Corp. He joined the company in August as project manager from Java Development Corp. Before that, Sippl owned a software and Internet consulting business and an investment advisory company.
