At California, Thursday: The Golden Bears started off exactly the way you’d expect a team that lost six significant seniors and was put on probation over the summer: 1-4. But since transfer Geno Carlisle has become eligible, Cal has won five of its last seven, despite a loss to Stanford on Saturday, and Carlisle scored 56 points in the 1-1 split at the Oregon schools. The Bears also start a couple of big bodies--6-foot-10, 270-pound Kenyon Jones and 6-11, 250-pound Sean Marks.
