Park Commission Invites Applicants
Residents with an interest in the city’s parks can apply for a vacancy on the Parks, Recreation Facilities and Parkways Commission. The five-member panel makes recommendations to the City Council on such issues as tree removal, plantings and policy matters. Commissioners meet the fourth Wednesday of the month.
Applicants should send a letter of interest and a resume to Mayor Peter Buffa, City Hall, P.O. Box 1200, Costa Mesa, CA 92628-1200.
