Marshal Sought for Annual Parade
Grand marshal candidates are being sought for the Conejo Valley Days parade, to be held May 2 in Thousand Oaks.
“Conejo Valley Days is a chance for all the various service clubs to raise money for charity,” said “Buffalo” Bob Rickards, a Western artist and a past grand marshal.
Preparations for the annual event kick off with a picnic March 14 and include a chili cook-off, a deep sea fishing contest and a carnival.
Grand marshal hopefuls must have their applications in by Feb. 4.
For information, call Rickards at 492-6339, or the Conejo Valley Days office at 371-8730.
