Writer Ray Bradbury will visit the Public Library Feb. 2 in an effort to raise funds for expansion of the branch’s Children’s Room.
Bradbury will talk about his career and autograph copies of his books, including his latest volume of short stories, “Quicker Than the Eye.” His books will be on sale and all profits will be donated to the expansion project, library officials said.
Admission is $5 for adults and free for students. Bradbury’s appearance is the first of many activities planned to raise $500,000 for the library.
The library is at 353 W. Commonwealth Ave. Information: (714) 738-6380.
