* “Titanic” Museum. Yes, there’s a whole museum dedicated to the filming of the unsinkable movie “Titanic,” on the old 20th Century Fox lot in Rosarito. Saturdays, 2-6 p.m.; Sundays, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. $5. Free Road, three miles south of downtown Rosarito.

* “Carnaval,” Feb. 19-24. Baja’s quirky pre-Lent equivalent to Mardi Gras offers all-night street entertainment, the coronation of El Rey Feo (The Ugly King), scary parades, festive floats, greased pig contests and more. Starts Feb. 19 in Ensenada and Feb. 20 in San Felipe. Call the tourism office in each city for Carnaval event schedules and locations. * “Two-Nation Train Tour,” Feb. 7 and 21. Vintage cars from the San Diego Railroad Museum travel to Tecate and back for a day trip that includes a tour of the Tecate Brewery and time for lunch and shopping in Tecate. 10 a.m. departure from Campo. $35. * “World Tournament of Surfing,” Feb. 11-21. For the first time, the island of Todos Santos will be used for a 10-day international surfing tournament featuring top competitors from around the world. Because of environmental concerns and dangerous conditions, only competitors, press and officials will be permitted on the island, but remote-viewing locations will be set up throughout the city of Ensenada for the public.
