SAN DIEGO (9-9, 1-5) at LOYOLA MARYMOUNT (5-13, 1-5), 7, KXLU-FM (88.9)--The Lions split their two games against Pepperdine and that should boost their confidence going into games against the Toreros and St. Mary’s. The return of point guard Haywood Eaddy, top scorer at 15.5 points a game, should be another boost. Eaddy sat out two weeks because of what was originally diagnosed as a broken finger but turned out to be a bruised tendon. He played 24 minutes in Saturday’s 70-67 loss to Pepperdine, scoring seven points. San Diego has lost four of its last five games, but the victory was over Gonzaga last Saturday when Brian Miles scored a career-high 32 points.
