Dan Mahan; Advertising Executive

Dan Mahan, 61, advertising executive who served on the California Economic Development Commission. Mahan, who served as president of the Advertising Club of Los Angeles, was executive vice president of the Leadership Group Inc., which specializes in sales and marketing for communications companies. Among his clients were Aramark Corp., ABC, General Telephone, Los Angeles magazine and Pacific Bell. Mahan held offices with the American Advertising Federation, the American Marketing Assn., the Travel Research Assn. and the Advertising Industry Emergency Fund.
