Man Found Wounded Near Apartments Dies
A man was killed early Tuesday, but the cause of his death was unclear, police said.
The wounded victim, a man in his 30s, was discovered in the rear of an apartment complex in the 4000 block of Nicolet Avenue about 12:30 a.m. and died at a hospital, said Los Angeles Police Det. Armando Bernal of the south bureau homicide division.
Investigators were not sure Tuesday afternoon whether the man had been shot to death or killed in another manner.
Police are still seeking suspects, a weapon and a motive for the crime, Bernal said.
