Airport Authority Reelects President
Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority commissioners Monday reelected Joyce Streator to a third consecutive one-year term as the panel’s president in a 6-2 vote, over Burbank’s opposition.
“I regret that Burbank commissioners have interpreted my desire to be fair and equitable and to adhere to the rules as animosity to Burbank,” Streator said.
Commissioners Phil Berlin and Charlie Lombardo, who both represent Burbank, voted against Streator. The third Burbank representative to the commission, Ingolf Klengler, was absent.
The airport authority and Burbank have battled for years over airport terminal expansion.
