The Houston Comets came to New York and handed the Liberty with its worst loss.

Cynthia Cooper scored 17 of her 23 points in the first half as the Comets (11-1) handed the Liberty (8-6) its first loss at home.

The 25-point defeat topped a 19-point loss to Phoenix last year.
