Police Assn. to Host All-Day Hot Rod Show
The Buena Park Police Assn. will host the second annual “Cop Shop” Car Show on July 19, showcasing hot rods of all shapes and sizes.
A disc jockey will spin tunes from the ‘50s and ‘60s, food and refreshments will be available, and admission is free. An award ceremony at 1 p.m. will recognize the best cars from each decade, as well as best paint job, best motor and the car most likely to get a speeding ticket, among many other categories. A $3 pancake breakfast will be served from 7 to 10 a.m.
