Red Cross Offering Training Classes

Share

The Los Angeles chapter of the Red Cross recognizes July as Purposeful Parenting Month by offering free classes to promote accident prevention and emergency training.

Classes will include information to help families prepare for disasters such as fires and earthquakes.

A training class for baby-sitters teaches accident prevention, play supervision and how to decide what games are age-appropriate.

The Basic Aid Training, for children ages 8 to 10, teaches about common injuries such as minor and severe bleeding, poisoning, burns and how to respond to breathing emergencies.
