Sheriff’s Department Seeking 4 Fugitives

Ventura County Sheriff’s Department investigators are asking the public for help in locating four fugitives wanted in connection with crimes ranging from attempted armed robbery to possession of drugs.

Prison parolee Guadalupe Acevedo, 23, is wanted on suspicion of attempted armed robbery and grand theft auto stemming from a March crime spree in Camarillo in which a man was threatened with a screwdriver and told to hand over his personal belongings. A car was later stolen and then abandoned.

Acevedo, also known as Robert Ramirez, Dukes Woods, Guadalupe Sanchez and Woods Dukes, may be a Los Angeles gang member. His last known address was at 5436 North St. in Somis.

Acevedo is Latino, 5 feet 5 inches and 155 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Authorities are also searching for Eddie Rojo, who was recently convicted of possessing drugs and then violating his probation. He also goes by the name Richard Rodriguez.

Rojo’s last known address was in the 1300 block of Benton Way in Oxnard. He is Latino, 5 feet 3 and 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He has a rose tattoo on his right arm and a spider web tattoo that says “Sabrina” on his left arm.

Authorities are also searching for Thomas John Barretto, a 22-year-old Latino with black hair and brown eyes, 5 feet 5 and 150 pounds. Barretto has a woman’s face tattooed on his left arm and “Mono” with a heart on his right arm.

Barretto was arrested on suspicion of possessing and being under the influence of drugs. He was released from jail and has failed to appear for court, authorities say. He was last seen near an apartment complex at 1200 Gonzalez Road in Oxnard.

Deputies are also searching for Jose Martinez, who was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs and being in possession of drugs. He has failed to appear for court dates since being released from jail.

Martinez, 26, was last seen living in the 1300 block of Walnut Canyon Road in Moorpark. He is Latino, 5 feet 3 and 170 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
