Benefit to Honor Songwriter Paul Williams

A tribute to award-winning songwriter Paul Williams is slated for Aug. 15 at Spaceland, 1717 Silver Lake Blvd., Los Angeles.

The event will feature performances by the Oscar and Grammy Award winner as well as by the Wondermints, the Negro Problem, the Mello Cads and others performing their renditions of Williams’ songs.

Net proceeds from the show will benefit the Musicians’ Assistance Program, a drug and alcohol recovery organization for music industry professionals.

Tickets are $10 at the door.
