Pharamcist Arrested After Police Drug Sting
A West Los Angeles pharmacist was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of selling dangerous drugs without a prescription, police said.
Authorities booked Javad Ferdowski, 53, on felony charges after conducting a six-week sting in which undercover agents purchased controlled substances and other drugs on several occasions from Century Pharmacy without a doctor’s prescription, police said.
Authorities also arrested Nili Niko, a 30-year-old employee working the cash register Tuesday at the pharmacy, police said.
