Shipshape Review

Criticism for criticism’s sake is pointless, but I enjoyed your seemingly unbiased article on the Grand Princess ship (“Cruiseopolis,” June 21), and it was good to read that author Christopher Reynolds actually paid for his cabin!
If it is indeed the policy of the Travel Section to book anonymously, how can Cruise Views authors Shirley Slater and Harry Basch travel as “guests of the cruise lines,” and at the same time, travel “anonymously”? Perhaps, this is why their ship reviews are usually soft in areas of unbiased criticism?
