Shuttle Driver Arrested in Sexual Assault at LAX
Police have charged a Hawthorne man who shuttled private parking lot customers to Los Angeles International Airport with sexual assault and are investigating him for similar fondlings at the airport area dating back to last fall.
After a woman claimed he fondled her Tuesday, airport police arrested Pablo Garcia, 31, in the nearby parking garage where he worked, said police spokesman Officer Jason Lee. Five other women reported similar incidents on escalators, elevators or in parking garages in the airport area since last October, leading police to suspect Garcia in all of them.
Garcia was booked for misdemeanor sexual battery and later was released on $2,500 bail.
