Public Comment Sought on Pepperdine Expansion

Share

Public comment is being sought on the draft environmental impact report for the development of Pepperdine University’s 50-acre upper campus expansion, officials said.

The proposal for the upper part of the 830-acre campus includes a 95,500-square-foot graduate complex for the schools of business and management, public policy, and education and psychology, university spokesman Jeff Bliss said.

Also planned are student housing, faculty and staff condominiums, an academic support center, learning center, single-family homes and parking.

The environmental impact report is available for review at both campus libraries, the Malibu, Agoura Hills and downtown Los Angeles public libraries and the county Department of Regional Planning.

The period for public comment ends Aug. 18.
