Fullerton Is Rattled by Small Earthquake
A small earthquake hit the Fullerton area Thursday evening, rattling dishes but causing no injuries or damage, authorities said.
The quake, with a magnitude of 2.7, occurred at 6:40 p.m. and was centered about 3 miles east of Fullerton, said Nick Scheckel, a seismologist with the California Institute of Technology.
It was not an aftershock, he said.
