National Scholarships Go to 6 From O.C.

Six Orange County high school students were among 20 national winners of the 1998 Asian Pacific Youth Scholarships.
Each recently received a $1,000 college scholarship and chose a community organization to receive $500.
The local winners were Mina Suh, a senior at Irvine High School; Rajay Kumar, a senior at Edison High School in Huntington Beach; Stephanie Lim, a junior at Sunny Hills High School in Fullerton; Natalie Do, a senior at Foothill High School in Tustin; Linda Nguyen, a sophomore at Bolsa Grande High School in Garden Grove; and Chantha Som, a senior at Century High School in Santa Ana.
