Suspects in Bank Robbery Arrested
Police arrested two men in connection with robbing a Fullerton Savings and Loan branch in Anaheim on Thursday and said they think the suspects may be responsible for several other robberies in the area.
Thursday’s robbery was at 4:55 p.m., when two men entered the Fullerton business in the 2300 block of East Lincoln Avenue and handed the teller a note demanding money, Anaheim Police Sgt. Joe Vargas said. No one was injured in the incident, he said.
The robbers were seen running from the bank, and officers closed off a mile-square perimeter during the search. Police tracked the men to a home in the 2200 block of East Lincoln Avenue and found one of the men while searching the house, Vargas said. They later found the second man nearby and took both into custody, he said.
