Santa Ana Freeway Connectors Reopened
Southbound Santa Ana Freeway motorists no longer have to take a detour when heading onto the Garden Grove Freeway.
The southbound Santa Ana Freeway connector lanes to the eastbound and westbound Garden Grove Freeway reopened Friday.
The connectors closed in January for realignment as part of the $1.1-billion Santa Ana Freeway widening project through North County. The Garden Grove Freeway’s Bristol Street and La Veta Avenue offramp, and the southbound Santa Ana Freeway’s Chapman Avenue onramp, also have reopened to drivers.
Information on freeway construction: (714) 724-2077.
