Ray Harrison scored 22 points and G.G. Smith had 18, including four three-point baskets, to help Georgia to a 100-93 victory over Iowa on Wednesday in a first-round National Invitation Tournament game at Iowa City, Iowa.

Jumaine Jones and Phenizee Ransom had 14 points apiece, while Larry Brown had 11 for the Bulldogs (17-14), who will play North Carolina State in the second round.

Ricky Davis scored 25 points and Ryan Bowen 24 for the Hawkeyes (20-11). Bowen had 11 rebounds.
