Committee Report on Dodger Sale Sent

Baseball’s ownership committee, which has been gathering information on the sale of the Dodgers to Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp. for several months, sent its findings to the 30 major league teams Wednesday, along with a report on the sale of the Toronto Blue Jays. The sale of both clubs will be voted on in a joint meeting of American and National league owners today in Florida. Neither report included a recommendation, which is not unusual.
