WESTCHESTER (29-3) vs. ALAMEDA ST. JOSEPH NOTRE DAME (29-4), Saturday at Arco Arena in Sacramento--This game for the Division I state title features two of the state’s most creative swingmen in Westchester’s Tony Bland, who is going to Syracuse, and St. Joseph’s Ray Young, who is headed to UCLA. The matchup between Westchester guard Brandon Granville and St. Joseph’s Nate Murase also should be exceptional. Westchester has never won a state championship. St. Joseph won in 1991 and ’92.
