Seventeen people were injured Sunday when a San Gabriel tour agency’s bus skidded off an icy highway in northwestern Arizona and flipped on its side, officials said.
None of the injuries in the 7:30 a.m. crash of the ABC Holiday bus were life-threatening, said Officer Lori Rhemume of the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The injured were flown from the Interstate 40 crash site, about 17 miles west of Seligman, Ariz., to hospitals in Flagstaff and Kingman.
A dispatcher said the victims were all Chinese nationals en route to the Grand Canyon.
Further details of the crash were not available. Calls to ABC Holiday’s phone number were not answered.
