2 Men Arrested in Stolen Property Case
Sheriff’s deputies arrested two Ventura men Sunday morning on suspicion of possessing stolen property worth an estimated $5,000, authorities said.
Jason Andrew Miller and Kenneth Aaron Ross, both 27, were arrested on the street near 75 W. Thousand Oaks Blvd. shortly after 9:30 a.m.
Officers arrested Miller after receiving a call about a suspicious individual in the area. They found Miller in possession of cellular telephones, stereo equipment and identification cards, police said.
A short time later, officers arrested Ross at the same location. He was in possession of tools and cellular telephones that police say were stolen.
Both men remained in Ventura County Jail late Sunday, Miller in lieu of $20,000 and Ross in lieu of $5,000 bail.
Miller and Ross are scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday at the Ventura County Courthouse.
