Pepperdine, UCLA in Final

HONOLULU — Top-seeded Pepperdine beat fourth-seeded Princeton, 15-1, 15-6, 15-4, on Thursday night to set up a championship match with UCLA in the NCAA men’s volleyball tournament.
No. 2 UCLA edged No. 3 Lewis of Illinois, 13-15, 15-8, 15-6, 13-15, 15-11, in the other semifinal. The championship is Saturday night.
George Roumain, the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation’s player of the year, had 13 kills and three aces for Pepperdine (23-4). Chris Jacobson added 12 kills and four blocks for the Waves.
Scott Birdwell led Princeton (16-9) with 14 kills.
Adam Naeve had 34 kills for UCLA (27-4) and reserve Danny Farmer added 26. Victor Rivera led Lewis (25-9) with 43 kills.
