There will be a two-hour workshop on how to become a successful thoroughbred horse owner on Saturday beginning at 8 a.m. at Hollywood Park.
Admission is free.
Sponsored by the Thoroughbred Owners of California, the workshop includes topics such as how to choose a trainer, how to acquire a thoroughbred, and the cost of ownership. Reservations are requested. Information: (310) 330-7142.
