After being debriefed by INS officials, two of the four Romanians who jumped ship in Long Beach Harbor early Thursday have decided to leave the United States with the vessel. The two others, Costin Popa, 20, and Marinel Aghion, 29, were discovered by the Coast Guard on Friday morning on a break wall at the entrance to Los Angeles Harbor. They were being interviewed by the Immigration and Naturalization Service late Friday.

Another man, who was hospitalized briefly with hypothermia, told officials that he came to work in the United States, but opted to leave rather than pursue formal proceedings with the INS, officials said. He was identified as Grigor Ciorteanu, 21.

The fourth man will remain on the vessel until its departure to Yokohama, Japan, next week, Coast Guard officials said. He had jumped into the water but immediately turned around and swam back to the ship.
