AGING SEMINAR: Adat Ari El and Valley Storefront Jewish Family Service will present a free seminar, “You and Your Aging Parent,” from 10 a.m. to noon Sunday at Adat Ari El, 12020 Burbank Blvd., North Hollywood. JAZZ CELEBRATIONS: The Pat Senatore Quartet will perform at the “Jazz Celebrations” program at First Lutheran Church at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, 1300 E. Colorado St., Glendale. BROADWAY HIGHLIGHTS: Selections from the musicals “Grease,” “Fiddler on the Roof” and “Oklahoma!” will be featured in “An Enchanted Evening: The Music of Broadway,” sponsored by the Music Department of Metropolitan Community Church at 7:30 tonight at the church, 5730 Cahuenga Blvd., North Hollywood. SCIENCE AND THE BIBLE: Author and scientist Gerald L. Schroeder will lecture on “Genesis and the Big Bang: The Discovery of Harmony Between Modern Science and the Bible” at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Conejo Jewish Academy, 30345 Canwood St., Agoura Hills. Schroeder argues that the Big Bang and the first six days described in Genesis are the same, although told in different terms. A $10 donation is requested.
