Painful Economy Class

Regarding the April 26 “Deal of the Week”: Having just returned from a trip to Brussels on CityBird airline, I’d like to add a couple of cautionary notes:
The distance between seat backs in coach class is an absolute minimum. At 5 feet, 6 inches and 130 pounds, I felt like a sardine.
CityBird departs at night from LAX. With the time change, you arrive in Brussels around 5 p.m. instead of morning (when you can take a nap if needed and later go to bed at a normal time). The result is horrendous jet lag that lasts for several days. The price is right, but it’s a painful economy.
