If you get fidgety sitting in a movie theater for two-plus hours, this may be for you. The folks at NewTown Pasadena have organized a mobile moviegoing experience called “Reels on Wheels.” A van equipped with a film projector, solar generator and FM radio transmitter will cruise around the Pasadena area projecting short films onto the sides of buildings specifically chosen for their large white walls. Seven shorts will be screened at seven locations, and organizers will reveal only the location of the starting point. From there, the cinematic caravan will stay at each site just 10 to 15 minutes before moving on. Organizers promise that there will be ample parking.
