LAKE CUYAMACA--Slow after big weekend. Bass, crappie and trout good all last week. Bass more difficult to catch in the morning, but as sun warms shallows, they are hitting on nearly everything. Trout seem to favor powerbait. Crappie limits common. Best trout spot is at Fox Hole. Best bass lures are lizards and Castaic baby bluegill.

Ice is bad at Lake Sabrina. Fishing good but sizes dropping into half-pound range. Bishop Creek getting the pressure because of ice on lakes. MAMMOTH AND JUNE LAKE AREAS--June Lake stocking 300 fish a day and excellent fishing reported along most of the loop. However, roads for San Joaquin River, Sotcher Lake and Starkweather Lake are closed.
