Comedian Bobcat Goldthwait canceled his weekend performances at the Brea Improv late Friday afternoon because of promotional work for his new show on the fX cable channel. Comedian Gary Valentine’s stint has been extended through Sunday. Goldthwait’s performances are expected to be rescheduled, according to a club spokeswoman. Information: (714) 529-7878.
