Olson Construction Names Finance Executive

* Jackie Buck has been appointed executive vice president of finance and administration for R.D. Olson Construction in Irvine. She had been vice president of finance since 1989. Buck joined the company more than 10 years ago as the management information systems director.

* Scantron Corp. in Tustin has organized into three divisions and named three new presidents. Larry Moore has been named president of the Scanning division. Moore joined Scantron in 1985 and had been appointed executive vice president in 1995. The Scantron Service division, headquartered in Omaha, is headed by David Conway. Timothy Loomer, former senior vice president of sales and marketing, was named president of the Scantron Technologies division.

* Catherine Clampitt has been named executive vice president/SBA manager for Eldorado Bank in Tustin. She has been with the bank for more than 16 years and has focused on the Small Business Administration program since 1988.

* Les Whitney has been appointed chief operating officer of Renaissance Doors & Windows in Fullerton, a designer, manufacturer and installer of custom residential doors and windows. He was formerly president of P&L; Industries.

* Dan F. Ausman has been named chief executive of Irvine Medical Center, a 176-bed acute care hospital. He was previously chief executive at Monterey Park Hospital. Ausman has also worked as a hospital administrator for OrNda HealthCorp., American Healthcare Management and Community Health Systems Inc.

* Claudia Folska has joined Island Pacific Systems Corp., an Irvine provider of software products to the retail industry, as director of corporate communications. She was previously vice president of Indus Consulting Associates. In addition, Laureen Lyons was named director of client services. She joined the company from Knott’s Berry Farm, where she was manager of application development. Lyons will be responsible for all customer services including implementations, upgrades, and training.

* Paul Douglas Webber has joined Musser: Architects in Costa Mesa as a project manager. He previously managed his own building design practice in San Diego, Sedona, Seattle and Tahoe City. Webber has also been associated with Roger H. Newell in Seattle and David Tucker, Architect in San Francisco.

* Michel Gadbois has been named to head the sales organization for the Shopfloor 2000 software suite of TSI’s SF2K division in Lake Forest. Gadbois was previously vice president of sales for Thru-Put Technologies, and before that was vice president of operations at Flow International.

* Brian Theodore has been appointed national sales manager for Road Warrior International, a Santa Ana supplier of accessories for portable computers. Before joining the company, he was general manager for the Merit Group in Torrance and senior consultant for Peterson Consulting Limited Partnership in Los Angeles.

* Tony Burkhart has been named director of outsourcing services for NexGen SI Inc. in Irvine. He formerly served as director of outsourcing delivery at Cap Gemini America. Burkhart has also held senior management positions at Alltel Information Systems.

* Cliff Swan has joined Psomas & Associates in Costa Mesa to lead the new Construction Management Group. He had been with Construction Resource Management, LLC in Henderson, Nev.

* Vicki L. Johnson has been appointed administrative director for the new South Orange County master-planned community of Ladera Ranch, being developed by Rancho Mission Viejo LLC. She was previously an associate project manager for Polygon Communities Inc. in Anaheim. Before that, Johnson worked in forward planning at Presley Homes in Yorba Linda.

* Collette Morse has joined Robert Bein, William Frost & Associates in Irvine as senior project manager in the environmental planning department. She has more than 13 years of experience in planning and environmental analysis.

* Thomas L. Feia and Linda R. Seyfried have joined Armstrong/Robitaille Insurance Services Inc. in Tustin as account executives. Both were formerly with James Econn & Co. in Los Angeles.

* Brooke Hazard has been named director of client services at Lawrence & Mayo Advertising in Newport Beach. Before joining the agency, she was communications director for George Patterson Bates in Melbourne, Australia.

* Skip Feher has been appointed general manager of Airshow Inc.’s new communications service business unit. He had been the Tustin-based company’s manager of airline sales for North, South and Central America since 1996. Before that, Feher held general aviation and airline sales management positions at Global Systems and Sunstrand Data Control.

* Renn Zaphiropoulos has been elected to the board of directors of CalComp Technology Inc. in Anaheim, bringing the number of members to nine. Zaphiropoulos is the former president and chief executive of Versatec Inc., a producer of electrostatic printers and plotters, and a subsidiary of Xerox Corp. He is also a retired corporate vice president of Xerox.

* David Osburn has been named senior vice president and term loan manager at California State Bank in Newport Beach. He was previously senior vice president and manager of First Security Bank’s Albuquerque real estate department. First Security acquired California State in May.

* W.R. MacAloney, president and chief executive of Jax Markets in Anaheim, has been elected chairman of the California Grocers Association, a nonprofit, statewide trade association.

* David A. Roth has been named a financial advisor for Liberty Capital Management Inc. in Santa Ana. He was formerly a registered principal and marketing director with WMA Investment Advisors Inc. in Duluth, Ga.

* Tade Farmer has been appointed vice president of development for SK&A; Information Services Inc. in Irvine. He rejoined the company after working for two years at Buckley Dement/Acxiom, most recently as regional sales manager. Previously at SK&A;, Farmer was director of sales and marketing and director of pharmaceutical products.
