Four new members have been elected to serve on Cal Lutheran University’s Board of Regents.

Selected during the university’s Founders Day weekend last month, the new members will each serve three-year terms.

Six regents were reelected to the 34-member governing board.

The regents were selected by the 100-member Convocation, a group of representatives from the Lutheran Church and the university community.

The new members are Ron Poulson of Westlake Village, owner of Poulson Associates; Dean Soiland of Santa Rosa, owner and president of Mark West Quarry; Jerry Gross of Westlake Village, superintendent of the Conejo Valley Unified School District; and Jeff Jordan of Newbury Park, a vice president for GTE Network Services.

A San Francisco resident, Eliason has served on the board for three years.

She succeeds Karsten Lundring, who was served for six years.

The Board of Regents is responsible for guiding the policies of the four-year university in Thousand Oaks.
