* 9th Street: Report of a petty theft Nov. 2 at 2:41 p.m. at California Street.

* Orangethorpe Avenue: Report of a man inside a van with pants down and making lewd remarks to women passing by Tuesday at 11:42 a.m. at Valley View Avenue.

CYPRESS

* Valley View Street: A $1,200 computer was stolen in a burglary reported Nov. 1 at 8:50 a.m. on the 9200 block.

* Avenida Sevilla: A petty theft was reported Nov. 1 at 3:28 p.m. on the 4000 block.

COSTA MESA

* West Wilson Street: A reported assault sent officers to the 500 block about 12:45 a.m. Nov. 1.

* Broadway: Officers responded to the 300 block about 12:10 a.m. Nov. 1 to check a public drunkenness complaint.

DANA POINT

* Del Prado Avenue: A report of a disturbance Oct. 28 at 9:57 p.m. on the 24000 block.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Perch Avenue: A dead cat was found hanging from a wooden fence by a cord around its neck in the 10500 block Nov. 2 at 7:30 a.m. Police officers did not know whether the cat died before or after it was hanged.

* Magnolia Street and Slater Avenue: A 41-year-old Fountain Valley man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after he was involved in an accident Nov. 1 at 12:38 a.m.

FULLERTON

* West Franklin Avenue: A white 1998 Toyota Camry was reported stolen Nov. 1 at 2:16 a.m. on the 3700 block.

* North Placentia Avenue: A petty theft was reported Nov. 1 at 2:26 a.m. on the 1600 block.

GARDEN GROVE

* Biscayne Boulevard: Two men were arrested after officers found several baggies of methamphetamine, scales and other drug paraphernalia Oct. 17 on the 11300 block.

* Lucille Street: A man was arrested in connection with felony assault and elderly abuse when police encountered an elderly man who had face and chest wounds Oct. 29. The man told police his stepson had assaulted him.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* Lake Street: Officers responded to a complaint that someone was using a chain saw about 12:10 a.m. Thursday, possibly in Lake Park.

* Quail Circle: A caller said he heard someone open his screen door, then try the doorknob on his front door about 3:15 a.m. Thursday. But when he looked outside he didn’t see anyone.

IRVINE

* Irvine Center Drive/Sand Canyon Avenue: Construction workers found a lock cut off of their steel storage bin Oct. 12 at 7:47 a.m. and determined a loss of $13,070 in construction tools and supplies.

LA HABRA

* South Colfax Street: Loud music was reported Nov. 1 at 1:08 a.m. on the 300 block.

* South Euclid Street: A vicious animal was reported Nov. 1 at 1:26 p.m. on the 1300 block.

LA PALMA

* Monterey Lane: A woman reported her dog was barking at something Oct. 19 at 4:04 p.m. in the bushes in the atrium in front of her home. It might have been an opossum.

* La Palma Avenue: Two cellular phones were reported stolen from a car Oct. 19 at 4:04 p.m.

* Kathy Drive: A gas cap and four hub caps were reported stolen from a car on the 4500 block Oct. 20 at 3:22 p.m.

LAGUNA BEACH

* Emerald Drive: Sheriff’s deputies responded to an audible burglar alarm in the 1000 block about 10 a.m. Tuesday.

* Alicia Parkway: A report of suspicious circumstances Tuesday at 12:32 p.m. on the 25000 block.

* Bentley Lane: A report of a robbery with an audible alarm Oct. 31 at 5:11 p.m. on the 25000 block.

* Kestrel Lane: A report of a robbery with a silent alarm Oct. 31 at 12:45 a.m. on the 29000 block.

* Tessier Street: A report of a disturbance Oct. 28 at 1:49 p.m. on the 30000 block.

* Rockfield Boulevard: A report of suspicious circumstances Tuesday at 1:26 p.m. on the 24000 block.

* Big Timber Street: A report of a prowler Oct. 31 at 12:51 a.m. on the 24000 block.

* Summer Creek: A report of a disturbance Oct. 28 at 9:03 p.m. on the 26000 block.

LOS ALAMITOS

* Katella Avenue: Mysterious construction was reported at 5:04 a.m. Wednesday; it turned out to be the water company flushing out the water mains.

* Reagan Street: Police officers checked out reports of a suspicious white male who was sitting on a blue Honda at 2:03 p.m. Wednesday. He was spotted putting on a fake nose and walking into a post office.

MISSION VIEJO

* Calatrava: A report of a robbery with an audible alarm Tuesday at 7:58 p.m. on the 21000 block.

* Carranza Drive: A report of suspicious circumstances Oct. 31 at 5:28 p.m. on the 26000 block.

* Chrisanta Drive: A report of a disturbance Oct. 28 at 8:50 a.m. on the 24000 block.

NEWPORT BEACH

* Bayside Drive: A man reported Tuesday that someone stole a Yamaha outboard motor worth $2,100 and a gray boat cover from his boat, after cutting a lock off a gate and entering the boat yard where he kept them.

* East Katella Avenue: A shoplifting incident involving $50 to $200 was reported at 4:55 p.m. Thursday.

* North Main Street: An assault with hands, fist and feet occurred in a nightclub in the 1000 block at 10:58 p.m. Thursday.

* East Orangethorpe Avenue: Someone stole a cell phone Nov. 2 from an unlocked car at a convenience store at 5:15 p.m.

* Tweed Street: A report of a residential burglary Nov. 2 at 9:52 a.m.; a ring was taken.

* Avenida Pico: A report of reckless driving Oct. 28 at 1:15 p.m. on the 800 block.

* Del Obispo Street: A report of a traffic accident Oct. 28 at 8:18 a.m. on the 31000 block; no one was injured.

* North Baker Street: A man was arrested on suspicion of slapping his wife Nov. 1 at 2:54 a.m. on the 400 block.

* South Corwin Court: A report of a stolen dog Tuesday at 5 p.m. on the 1700 block.

* 1st Street: A 19-year-old man was arrested on a bail warrant after he was seen running away from a party that officers had broken up Oct. 19 at 4:40 a.m.

* 12th Street: A 1986 Toyota 4-Runner was reported stolen during the night of Oct. 18.

* Beach Boulevard and Cerritos Avenue: A vehicle was reportedly abandoned Tuesday at 2 a.m.

* Magnolia Avenue and Garden Grove Boulevard: Reckless driving reported Tuesday at 9 a.m.

* Kenyon Drive: A complaint of loud music at 12:08 a.m. Oct. 26 on the 17000 block. Police advised party-goers to turn down the volume.

* Irvine Boulevard: The front sign and lights were reportedly found broken Oct. 11 at 9:41 a.m. at the Church of Scientology on the 1400 block.

* Abbott Lane: A report of a disturbance Tuesday at 9:54 p.m. in the 18000 block.

* Parker Circle: A report of a suspicious person Tuesday at 5:47 p.m. in the 19000 block.

* Westminster Mall: A 13-year-old girl was detained by security for alleged petty theft Oct. 25 at 2:41 p.m.

* California Avenue: A man reportedly exposed himself while sitting in his vehicle in traffic on the 7600 block on Oct. 25 at 12:50 p.m.
